Introducing a brand new iteration of the Roshe Run silhouette, Nike has unveiled the latest Roshe One Premium Plus in a black and white colorway. The upper is rendered with a striped motif and is constructed with a classic mesh base and complex covering of TPU stripes along the body. A solid black heel counter and Swoosh branding adds eye-catching accents to the sneaker, directly contrasting the stark white midsole. Although the black and white model is shown here, the new offering will also be available in vibrant colorations of Racer Blue and Bright Crimson. Nike‘s Roshe One silhouette is already simple and minimal, so mixing it up with the zen nature of Japanese cherry blossoms seems to be a no-brainer. The Dylan Raasch-designed shoe was inspired by serenity and zen anyway, so this Cherry Blossom iteration of the now Retro favorite is definitely worth a double take. While it’s not explicitly feminine due to its black and white color palette, the shoe features subtle patterns and overall, the cherry blossoms aren’t immediately discernible, making this shoe adequate for anyone. Thirdly, we wanted to eliminate as much excess material and design as possible to stay true to the original shoe: no distraction inside or outside.”
Since early January, we have learned more about what it is Nike will have in store for Nike Air Max Day and now it looks like that lineup has another new addition in the form of another Nike Air Max 1 model. The Nike Air Max 1 ‘Masters of Air’ features a premium black leather upper with a “What The” patterned mud-guard that includes various materials and color schemes used on many Nike silhouettes. These colors and materials include; OG Red, Safari, Patta, Leopard, Zebra and Viotech. The colorway is said to be in connection with the short documentary that Nike put out about avid Air Max collectors.
